Your Responsibilities

• Operation, maintenance, and further development of customer infrastructures in the areas of server, network, and firewall
• Configuration and operation of firewalls, VPN connections, VLANs, routing, switching, and security policies
• Planning and execution of server maintenance, patch management, lifecycle measures, and maintenance windows
• Operation of Windows Server environments with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, virtualization on Nutanix, and backup
• Operation and administration of Microsoft Exchange Server
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation and operating standards
• Technical responsibility for customer projects, migrations, and infrastructure standardizations
• Support and training of Junior Engineers

What You Bring

• Completed apprenticeship in IT or system technology (EFZ, HF/FH or comparable); several years of professional experience are recognized as equivalent qualification
• Several years of practical experience as a System Engineer in the areas of network, security, or server
• Very good knowledge in firewall administration (e.g., FortiGate, Sophos, or comparable solutions)
• Good knowledge in Windows Server, Active Directory, virtualization, backup, and monitoring
• Experience with patch management, maintenance planning, incident, and change management
• Customer-oriented demeanor, clear communication, high commitment, and very good German language skills

Advantageous: Experience in the MSP or SME environment, Fortinet certifications (NSE4), PowerShell, endpoint security platforms, or Nutanix.
