About The Role

As a Senior Inbound Product Manager, you will champion customer needs through research and collaboration, translating them into actionable requirements and a compelling product vision. You will lead product discovery and delivery, guiding cross-functional teams to develop simple, complete, and lovable solutions. You will serve as the active Product Owner, maintaining a prioritized backlog focused on customer outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead product discovery by conducting in-depth customer research, identifying needs, and translating them into clear requirements and a compelling product vision
  • Guide cross-functional teams through the full product development lifecycle
  • Serve as the active Product Owner, maintaining a groomed and prioritized backlog
  • Identify and champion AI and automation opportunities to reduce manual friction and improve outcomes
  • Define success through measurable KPIs and use data-driven insights to inform prioritization
  • Design solutions with global customers in mind

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in product management for enterprise-scale financial software or high-level consulting in grants, financials, or payroll

Other Qualifications

  • Deep understanding of customer needs within grants management and post-award research administration
  • Skilled in active listening and effective communication to represent customer interests
  • Experience working with Engineering, QA, UX, Services, and Research teams
  • Proficient in data inspection, transformation, and modeling to guide product decisions
  • Deep functional expertise in higher education, healthcare, or government sectors
  • Experienced in building productive relationships and communication strategies
  • Skilled at evaluating outcomes, assessing risk, and balancing priorities
  • Experienced in generating business insights and shaping product vision
  • Demonstrated ability to identify and implement AI and automation opportunities
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience

Workday Pay Transparency Statement

  • Primary Location Base Pay Range: $148,000 USD - $222,000 USD
  • Additional US Location(s) Base Pay Range: $140,600 USD - $252,000 USD
