Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant (Remote)

Our client is seeking a seasoned Senior Industrial Engineering Consultant to join our dynamic, fully remote team. In this role, you will leverage your extensive expertise in process optimization, systems analysis, and operational efficiency to drive significant improvements for our diverse client base. You will be responsible for conducting in-depth analyses of manufacturing and service operations, identifying bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for innovation. Your primary focus will be on designing, developing, and implementing scalable solutions that enhance productivity, reduce costs, and improve quality.

This position requires a strong aptitude for problem-solving and a comprehensive understanding of industrial engineering principles, including lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, supply chain management, and simulation modeling. You will collaborate closely with clients’ engineering and management teams, utilizing virtual communication tools to gather data, understand challenges, and present findings and recommendations. Your responsibilities will include developing project plans, defining key performance indicators (KPIs), and overseeing the implementation of improvement initiatives. This involves creating detailed process maps, recommending new technologies or methodologies, and conducting feasibility studies.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical and critical thinking skills, with a proven track record of successfully leading and executing complex engineering projects in a remote environment. You should be adept at using various simulation and modeling software, as well as data analysis tools. Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills are essential for building rapport with clients and stakeholders, effectively conveying technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
