Senior Information Security Analyst, Cloud Security

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Information Security Analyst with a specialization in Cloud Security to join their elite cybersecurity team. This is a fully remote position, offering the chance to work on cutting-edge security challenges from anywhere. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing robust security measures to protect our cloud infrastructure and sensitive data across various cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). Your role will involve threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and ensuring compliance with relevant security standards and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of cloud security principles, network security, identity and access management (IAM), data encryption, and security monitoring tools. A proven track record in cloud security architecture, penetration testing, and security operations is essential. Responsibilities include conducting security assessments, identifying potential risks and vulnerabilities, and developing mitigation strategies. You will lead incident response efforts, perform forensic analysis, and provide post-incident reports and recommendations. Collaborating with IT and development teams to integrate security best practices into cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines will be a key aspect of your role. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are required to effectively articulate security risks and solutions to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Holding relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, or cloud-specific security certifications is highly desirable.
