Role Summary

The Senior Information Security Engineer is key to designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security solutions on an enterprise scale. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in supporting global cybersecurity efforts, leading incident response initiatives, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external standards. This role demands advanced technical expertise, excellent communication abilities, and agility in a dynamic work environment.

Your Responsibilities:

• Design, implement, and manage comprehensive information security solutions.
• Act as a Tier-3 escalation point for monitoring and addressing security incidents.
• Establish controls and processes to satisfy internal and customer audit requirements.
• Create security standards, policies, and procedures for internal and customer use.
• Conduct incident response activities based on the Ensono Incident Response Plan.
• Evaluate, test, and implement security application updates and patches.
• Provide consultative insights on emerging threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation strategies.
• Document project plans, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
• Mentor both new and current members of the security team.
• Offer insights and contribute to the strategic development of the security product roadmap.
• Collaborate with product owners to ensure the alignment of solutions with security offerings.

What You Will Need:

• 5 -10 years of experience in information security roles.
• Proven experience with security deployment in Azure Cloud.
• Expertise in Security-as-a-Service (SaaS) implementations.
• Strong background in digital forensics or penetration testing techniques.
• Experience with file integrity monitoring solutions.
• Proficiency in vulnerability scanning tools and risk assessment processes.
• Familiarity with password vault technologies for secure credential management.
• Hands-on experience with security frameworks like PCI-DSS, SSAE SOC1/SOC2, GDPR, HIPAA, IRS Pub 1075, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Experience managing security incident responses in large enterprises.
• Expertise in deploying and maintaining anti-malware solutions.
• Familiarity with security auditing and forensic analysis tools.
• Experience in implementing SIEM platforms.

Preferred Tools and Technologies:

MS Sentinel, Splunk, Microsoft Defender, Trend Micro, Trellix, Carbon Black, Tenable, Rapid7, Varonis, Microsoft Purview, Azure Cloud.

Education and Certifications:

• Relevant security certifications such as CISSP, CISA, CISM, CEH, or SANS GIAC.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Security or equivalent professional experience.

Compensation

The anticipated salary range for this position is $112,000 to $130,000 annually, based on a full-time schedule. Placement within this range may vary based on factors such as skills, experience, internal equity, and business needs. Alongside base salary, other compensation options may include an annual bonus plan based on performance and an equity grant through our Associate Equity Appreciation Program.
