Senior Networks Engineer

Role Overview

Due to expansion, our client is looking for a Senior technical lead responsible for pre-sales support, solution design, and hands-on delivery of secure, scalable network and server solutions. Monday to Friday, permanent role.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales & Consulting: Support sales, conduct site surveys, provide technical input
• Design & Scoping: Create SoW, HLD, LLD; ensure commercially viable solutions
• Implementation: Deliver network, server, and Wi-Fi deployments end-to-end
• Project Ownership: Manage full lifecycle, documentation, and handover to support

Technical Requirements

Networking & Security:

• 5+ years’ experience
• CCNP (or equivalent)
• Firewalls, high-density Wi-Fi

Systems & Identity:

• Windows Server (MCSE or equivalent)
• Active Directory, identity management
• Exchange / messaging exposure

Storage & Backup:

• Backup, storage, disaster recovery

Methodologies:

• ITIL v4 (required)
• Agile (preferred)

Soft Skills

• Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders
• Commercial awareness
• Strong problem-solving
• Effective time and priority management

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience
• Certifications: CCNP, MCSE, ITIL v4
• Full driving licence required
