Senior Infrastructure Resiliency Engineer / Architect

About the Role

Our consulting client is seeking a Senior Infrastructure Resiliency Engineer / Architect to support enterprise resiliency and disaster recovery initiatives within a highly critical infrastructure environment. This role will focus on disaster readiness assessments, resiliency architecture, failover design, clustering, infrastructure recovery planning, and operational resiliency improvements across enterprise technology platforms.

The ideal candidate will bring strong infrastructure operations experience across Linux and/or Windows environments along with hands-on expertise in high availability, disaster recovery, virtualization, networking, and storage technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess critical business processes from an end-to-end perspective to identify resiliency risks and recommend remediation strategies.
• Review and refine Disaster Recovery (DR) and resiliency standards aligned with enterprise risk frameworks.
• Collaborate with infrastructure architecture and platform teams to improve resiliency design patterns.
• Participate in DR exercises, recovery testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Analyze incidents and root causes to identify resiliency or disaster recovery gaps.
• Design and support high availability solutions including clustering and failover environments.
• Configure and support infrastructure components including virtualization, networking, storage, and cloud environments.
• Research emerging technologies and resiliency best practices.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of Linux and/or Windows infrastructure administration experience
• Strong operational support experience including on-call and break-fix environments
• Hands-on experience with:

• Strong understanding of:

• Experience creating and configuring clusters and cluster partitions
• Hands-on storage configuration experience

Nice to Have

• Scripting and automation using Ansible or similar tools
• Experience with ServiceNow
• Familiarity with multi-tier application architecture
• Infrastructure architecture experience in enterprise banking or large-scale environments
