Your Role

As a Security Operations Center Engineer/SOC Expert (m/w/d) at x-tention, you will be responsible for monitoring, detecting, and responding to security threats and incidents. You will play a crucial role in safeguarding our clients' IT infrastructure and data.

Responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts and events using various security tools.
• Investigate and analyze potential security incidents.
• Perform incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Develop and maintain security documentation and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal teams to improve security posture.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and vulnerabilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC) environment.
• Strong understanding of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) tools.
• Knowledge of network security, endpoint security, and threat intelligence.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Relevant security certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH) are a plus.
