As part of their strategic expansion into South Africa, they are seeking to appoint a highly experienced Senior Interior Designer to become a key figure within their growing regional team.

This is a rare opportunity to work on exceptional private residences, villas, and luxury homes valued at $20 million+, collaborating closely with an established international design team on world-class projects.

The Role

As a Senior Interior Designer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering sophisticated, high-end residential interiors from concept through to completion. Working remotely from South Africa, you will engage daily with international teams while contributing to projects that demand the highest level of creativity, technical ability, and attention to detail.

This position offers exposure to globally recognised luxury markets and the opportunity to shape the foundation of a growing South African presence.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Senior Interior Designer within luxury residential projects (villas, estates, high-end homes)
• Proven portfolio working on ultra-high-net-worth residential properties (ideally $20 million+ homes)
• International project experience is essential (candidates with only local South African experience will not be considered)
• Background with a top-tier or internationally recognised design studio
• Strong design sensibility with a refined, contemporary aesthetic
• High level of professionalism, organisation, and ability to work in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design development, concept creation, and space planning
• Curate and specify high-end finishes, materials, furniture, and bespoke elements
• Prepare and deliver client presentations and design documentation
• Collaborate with international teams across multiple time zones
• Support project execution from inception through to installation
• Maintain exceptional quality and attention to detail across all deliverables
