Senior IT Engineer

Your role in the team

• Engineering in MS Azure and Active Directory
• Further development of the onboarding methodology (automation / scripting)
• Setup of DFS in a Windows Fileserver Environment
• User support at senior level support
• Design and development of advanced connectivity solutions (e.g., SD-WAN)
• Development, implementation, and further development of comprehensive IT governance to enable seamless integration of system landscapes
• Harmonization of the system landscape, elimination of silo solutions where possible
• Ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, IT compliance, IT security, licensing law)
• Management of external service providers, partners, and cloud/outsource providers
• Protection of infrastructure and data from cyber risks
• Establishment of emergency, backup, and business continuity concepts
• Consulting and support in the selection, implementation, and further development of IT systems
• Systematic assessment of requirements considering IT governance

Experience

Education

• Completed degree in Computer Science or certification as an IT Specialist (IHK) or a comparable qualification. This can also be based on extensive professional experience in the related activities.
