Role

In this role, you will take over the leadership and control of demanding IT projects throughout their entire lifecycle – from initiation and implementation to operational handover and project completion. You will be responsible for deadline, cost, and quality targets, identify project risks early on, evaluate them, and initiate appropriate mitigation measures. Within the framework of professional stakeholder management, you will coordinate internal specialist departments and external service providers and ensure transparent communication. You will also ensure compliance with legal requirements and internal architectural guidelines and create structured project plans, reports, and meaningful presentations for management. Additionally, you will contribute to the further development of project methodological standards and topics such as demand management, business analysis, and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• You have completed studies in (business) informatics, medical informatics, or a comparable qualification (HF/FH/Uni).
• You have sound experience in IT project management in the healthcare sector.
• You are familiar with classic and agile project management methods (e.g., Hermes, IPMA, Scrum); corresponding certifications are an advantage.
• You know the Swiss healthcare system well and can use this knowledge specifically in projects.
• You convince with clear, appreciative communication, high social competence, and enjoyment of change processes as well as collaboration with different stakeholders.
• You have excellent command of German, both written and spoken, and also have good English skills.

Responsibilities

• You take over the leadership of complex IT projects from initiation to implementation and operational handover.
• In this role, you are responsible for the deadline, cost, and quality targets of your projects.
• As Head of IT Projects, you actively identify and mitigate project risks and manage stakeholder management.
• You ensure compliance with legal requirements such as GDPR, relevant ISO standards, and internal architectural specifications.
• In this role, you create well-founded project plans, reports, and management presentations and further develop the project methodology (Hermes).
• You support demand and business analysis, optimize Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) in ServiceNow, and qualify new requirements.
