We are looking for you as Senior Project Manager (m/f/d) in a hybrid model for our locations in Aachen, Düsseldorf, Frankfurt or Paris.

Your job – Your passion

• Lead complex implementation projects and be responsible for the end‑to‑end delivery of large and/or complex projects.
• Clarify the scope and define objectives and milestones.
• Obtain effort estimates and create project schedules and resource plans.
• Manage project control and cost calculation, monitor budgets and risks, and proactively handle dependencies and change requests.
• Conduct project meetings and steering committees; prepare project documentation and reports.
• Coordinate the project team, ensure adherence to delivery standards and methodologies, and take responsibility for conflict management.
• Act as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders and sponsors, both internally and on the client side; manage escalations and facilitate decision‑making.
• Support the continuous improvement of aixigo’s project management practices.

Your profile – Your strengths

• Successfully completed studies in economics, STEM fields, or a related discipline.
• 7+ years of professional experience in IT project management of complex projects with a proven track record of delivering projects in multi‑stakeholder environments.
• Keen interest in, or experience with, the financial sector.
• Strong risk management and problem‑solving abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and negotiation skills; experience working with senior leadership and executive sponsors.
• Strong skills in process design, documentation, and project management.
• Confident communicator in German and English (French is a plus); works independently, is a true team player, and has a keen awareness of stakeholder needs.
