Responsibilities

• You plan, implement, and operate security solutions in complex IT infrastructures
• You reliably protect network, server, and cloud environments from unauthorized access
• You set up, operate, and further develop firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN, and endpoint security solutions
• You analyze vulnerabilities, assess risks, and derive appropriate measures
• You contribute your experience to security monitoring and incidents, and support analyses
• Together with the team, you continuously develop our security architectures
• You are a valued point of contact for questions regarding security best practices and compliance (e.g., ISO 27001 or BSI Grundschutz)
• And of course, important solutions and concepts are properly documented

In short: You don't just consider security – you always think one step ahead.

Requirements

• Completed degree in computer science, IT security, or a comparable qualification – and ideally a few years of experience in IT security
• You are familiar with network and security architectures and know how to correctly use firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPN solutions
• Windows and Linux server environments are not new territory for you, but daily routine
• Experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure or AWS is a plus
• Analytical thinking, a structured way of working, and a desire to actively solve problems characterize you
• Team spirit and a customer-oriented demeanor are a matter of course for you
• Communication is your strength – in German, of course, but you also feel confident and can communicate well in English
