Responsibilities

• Planning, design, and realization of medium to large IT projects
• Conception, setup, and further development of Microsoft Windows-based system landscapes (internal and at customer sites)
• Analysis, planning, implementation, and testing of new solutions
• Lead Engineer for complex new installations and migration projects
• 2nd Level Support (remote and on-site)
• Operation and further development of server, storage, backup, cloud, and virtualization solutions
• Use of modern technologies such as Proxmox (hypervisor) and UDS (VDI)
• Collaboration and coordination with external partners
• Quality and communication-oriented project execution

Profile

• Completed IT apprenticeship EFZ System Technology or IT degree
• Several years of experience as a system and network administrator
• Very good knowledge of: Windows Server and Microsoft operating systems
• Virtualization and hypervisors (including Proxmox is an advantage)
• Storage, backup, and cloud environments
• Network and security components (Aruba, Fortinet are an advantage)
• Classic system landscapes (e.g., HPE servers)
• Specialized further training in the Microsoft environment (e.g., Windows Server, Azure)
• Experience in the design and execution of new installations and migration projects
• High self-motivation, independence, and team spirit
• Very good German skills (C2) and good English skills (B2)
• Driving license category B
