Your Responsibilities

• Worldwide support for VAHLE Group employees in 1st, 2nd, and 3rd level support in German and English.
• Conception, implementation, and administration of the existing VMware server environment with virtual Windows Server and Unix systems.
• Administration and further development of the existing hybrid Active Directory/Entra ID environment.
• System administration and software distribution via Intune, as well as continuous auditing and optimization of security-relevant configurations.
• Ensuring the security and integrity of the network architecture, controlling complex network configurations, and administering the HPE Aruba network infrastructure including NAC solution, Sophos firewalls, and the Zero Trust VPN solution within the VAHLE Group.
• Continuous further development of the Microsoft 365 environment and implementation of modern security standards through targeted hardening and the implementation of security baselines.
• Planning and execution of IT emergency tests, and derivation of suitable measures for the sustainable strengthening of the VAHLE Group's resilience.

Your Profile

• Completed Bachelor's degree in (Business) Informatics or a comparable qualification (e.g., Fachinformatik) as well as recognized manufacturer certifications (e.g., Microsoft, Veeam, VMware).
• Several years of relevant professional experience in the IT environment.
• Strong communication skills and high service and customer orientation.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory/Entra ID, server virtualization, networks, firewalling, and IT security frameworks; ideally experience with technologies from manufacturers HPE Aruba, VMware, and Sophos.
• Analytical, independent working style and a strong hands-on mentality; ability to maintain an overview even in complex situations.
• Ability to translate complex technical requirements into clear work packages and to implement them consistently.
