FINARIS is a Frankfurt-based IT consulting firm and manufacturer of the RapidRep ® software suites, an innovative automation and reporting solution in the field of large data volumes. Our customer base primarily includes financial service providers, but also companies in sectors such as vehicle construction or telecommunications. To expand our team in Frankfurt, we are looking for talented and motivated (m/f/x) for the further development of RapidRep.now.

Position

Senior Java Developer

Responsibilities

• Collaboration throughout the software development process of the RapidRep suites®
• Requirements analysis, design and specification
• Extension and improvement of the software architecture
• Cooperation in the UX area with wireframes and mockups
• Java and database programming
• Quality assurance through unit tests, code reviews, SonarQube and documentation in Confluence
• Work on the CI infrastructure (Maven, Jenkins, VMware, etc.)
• Support colleagues through knowledge transfer and exchange of experience

Requirements

• Several years of practical experience in software development with Java
• Knowledge of design patterns and clean code
• Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Experience with XML technologies and web services
• Windows and ideally also Linux knowledge
• Basic understanding of DevOps and IT architecture
• Team player with a high degree of independence and self-initiative
• Knowledge of agile ways of working
• Good degree (computer science, (business) informatics, industrial engineering or equivalent)
• Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English
• Ideally, ISTQB certification
