Senior Java Developer / Software Architect

About the Role

This role is a Senior Java Developer/Software Architect opportunity for a highly experienced developer with strong architectural aptitude and cloud exposure. The ideal candidate will bring 8–10 years of hands‑on software engineering experience, with a backend heavy focus and some exposure to frontend technologies. This position works closely with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders, so strong communication skills and the ability to explain complex solutions clearly are essential. The team is actively migrating services to the cloud, making real world cloud migration experience a major plus. The role also has a strong focus on AI enablement, including leveraging AI to build intelligent solutions, support business intelligence, and generate new insights. Experience designing or contributing to AI solutions or agents on cloud platforms is highly valuable. This person will own production systems, ensure high quality delivery, and respond to issues in a timely manner while demonstrating excellent problem‑solving skills.

Required Skills & Experience

• Senior‑level Java developer with strong architecture aptitude and exposure
• 8–10+ years of hands‑on Java development experience with Spring Boot
• Ability to work effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
• Strong cloud solutions experience, including Azure, AWS, and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands‑on experience designing or supporting AI solutions on cloud platforms

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience with Ecommerce platforms

Compensation

• $58/hr to $66/hr.
• Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
