Role Description

The Senior Java Development Engineer is a full-time, on-site role located in Abuja. The role involves designing, developing, and deploying software applications with a focus on Java. Responsibilities include collaborating with teams to implement new features, performing rigorous testing, and contributing to research and development efforts for innovative solutions. The successful candidate will also engage in troubleshooting, performance optimization, and accuracy improvements in line with industry standards.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in Software Development, Programming, and Java-based application design.
• Strong skills in Research and Development (R&D) for identifying and implementing innovative technological solutions.
• Proficiency in Testing methodologies to ensure software quality, reliability, and performance.
• Knowledge in Electronics or a related domain to support hardware-integrated development projects.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical thinking, and debugging abilities.
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adapt to on-site working conditions.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with cloud technologies, software design patterns, and system architecture is advantageous.
