As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Senior Java Engineer to join the engineering team of one of our clients — a high-performance fintech platform based in Lausanne.

You will evolve in a strongly technology-driven environment, where engineering teams design and enhance critical systems used by hundreds of thousands of users.

The challenge is real: building and maintaining high-performance distributed systems capable of processing large volumes of financial data in real time.

Your mission:

• Designing and developing critical backend services
• Contributing to the architecture of highly scalable systems
• Optimizing the performance of Java applications
• Improving the resilience and robustness of the systems
• Contributing to technology choices and engineering best practices
• Mentoring or supporting more junior developers
• Actively participating in code reviews and continuous improvement

You will work on technical challenges such as:

• Distributed systems
• Real-time financial data processing
• Performance optimization and latency management
• Large-scale data processing

Your profile:

• 8 to 15 years of experience in Java development (Here they're already using Java 25 !)
• Strong experience in backend engineering (Java 17+ to 25 / Spring Boot /Microservices architecture / REST APIs)
• Experience working in high-load or high-performance environments
• Experience with distributed architectures

Key Skills

• Excellent mastery of Java and the JVM
• Strong experience with Spring Boot
• Very good understanding of microservices architectures
• Experience with Kafka or streaming platforms
• Strong focus on performance and code quality
• Fuent in English and in French language
