Role

Do you want to do more than just develop software, but also design complex systems that control logistics processes worldwide? In this role, you will work on a highly developed warehouse management system and take responsibility for the entire software lifecycle – from architecture to development to quality assurance. You will operate in a technically demanding environment where your decisions have a direct impact on high-performance intralogistics solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analysis, specification, design, and further development of a warehouse management system
• Development and expansion of an existing Java-based framework
• Development of technical solution concepts for complex customer requirements
• Implementation of functions in demanding logistics projects
• Creation and maintenance of technical documentation
• Definition and enforcement of architecture and development guidelines
• Coaching of development teams and quality assurance of the software

Qualifications

• Completed degree (FH, ETH or comparable) in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
• Several years of experience as a Senior Software Engineer or Software Architect
• Very good knowledge of object-oriented software development with Java
• Experience with frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, QueryDSL, Maven, or Angular
• Good database knowledge (e.g., Oracle, MSSQL, PL/SQL)
• Analytical, structured, and solution-oriented way of working
• Very good German and good English skills
