Senior Java Tech Lead / Architect

Job Summary

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Senior Java Tech Lead / Architect on behalf of our client in Alpharetta, GA. This is an exciting long-term opportunity for a highly experienced technology leader who can drive enterprise application development initiatives, provide architectural guidance, and lead high-performing engineering teams in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Java-based technologies, modern application architecture, and team leadership while collaborating closely with stakeholders across business and technology teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of enterprise-grade applications
• Provide technical leadership and architectural direction across multiple initiatives
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering leadership
• Mentor development teams and establish engineering best practices
• Ensure scalability, performance, security, and maintainability of applications
• Drive solution design discussions and contribute to strategic technology decisions
• Lead distributed teams and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Support system integration and enterprise application modernization initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot
• Experience developing front-end applications using Angular
• Solid expertise with SQL Server and database design
• Proven experience in Tech Lead or Architect roles
• Strong understanding of enterprise application architecture and system integration
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work effectively in fast-paced enterprise environments
• 10+ years of overall IT experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in large enterprise environments
• Exposure to consumer products or related industry domains
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
• Experience leading cross-functional and distributed engineering teams
