Overview

We are seeking a Senior Lead AI Engineer to design and deliver advanced AI-driven platforms and agent-based systems. This role is ideal for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strong leadership capability and a passion for building scalable, production‑grade AI solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of enterprise‑scale AI and multi‑agent systems
• Architect robust, scalable, and fault‑tolerant AI platforms
• Implement AI safety, guardrails, and evaluation frameworks
• Drive best practices in AI engineering, prompt design, and system optimisation
• Build and optimise AI workflows, orchestration layers, and performance strategies
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver end‑to‑end AI solutions
• Mentor engineers and provide technical leadership across AI initiatives
• Evaluate and integrate emerging AI technologies and frameworks

Required Experience

• 8–10+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years in AI/ML
• Strong expertise in Python and modern AI frameworks (e.g., agent‑based systems)
• Experience with:
  • Prompt engineering and LLM optimisation
  • Vector databases and semantic search
  • Distributed systems and cloud‑native architectures
  • Docker, Kubernetes, and Infrastructure as Code
• Proven track record of leading complex technical projects or teams
• Strong understanding of responsible AI, bias, and governance

Nice to Have

• Experience with agent orchestration frameworks
• Exposure to Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar
• Background in AI experimentation and applied research

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or related field
