Senior / Lead Data Engineer (remote)

Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable data solutions to consolidate and analyze large, diverse data sources.
• Generate actionable insights to support product, client, and business decision-making.
• Partner with product and service teams to define analytical needs and experiments.
• Develop automated pipelines, algorithms, and processes to cleanse, integrate, and analyze data.
• Interpret and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Provide hands‑on leadership to data engineers across multiple projects.
• Lead data preparation and pipeline development for predictive modeling.
• Perform data exploration, validation, and reconciliation.
• Build, maintain, and monitor data pipelines and features.
• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, actuaries, and architects.
• Promote high‑quality delivery, ownership, and accountability.
• Create reusable, well‑documented data assets and code.
• Contribute to innovation and responsible use of AI.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant data engineering experience
• Deep experience implementing DBT and driving ETL/ELT development
• Expert SQL and Python skills
• Exposure to building ML data pipelines and features for predictive modeling
