About
As a Senior Lead Gen and Performance Marketing Manager, you will play a central role in the conception, implementation, and scaling of our performance marketing activities. You will not only be responsible for campaigns but will actively shape holistic B2B growth setups with a direct impact on our clients' pipeline and revenue.
Responsibilities
Your Role in Our Team:
- You will develop, manage, and optimize lead generation and performance marketing strategies and campaigns across relevant channels (LinkedIn, Meta, Google, etc.) with a clear focus on lead quality and business impact.
- You will take end-to-end responsibility for the lead generation and performance marketing setups of individual clients – from strategy to operational implementation to reporting.
- You will plan and manage media budgets, analyze performance KPIs (e.g., CPL, lead quality), and derive concrete optimization measures.
- You will act as an equal sparring partner for clients, advising on channel strategies, scaling potentials, and the integration of marketing & sales.
- You will conceptualize target group, keyword, and funnel analyses, deriving cross-channel campaign and activation strategies from them.
- You will set up clean tracking and measurement concepts (e.g., conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager, Analytics, UTM setups) and ensure high data quality.
- You will analyze campaign and funnel data, interpret results, and present actionable recommendations to our clients and internal teams.
- You will work closely with our content specialists and provide impetus for content concepts along the entire funnel – from awareness and lead magnets to sales-related assets.
- You will support the development and optimization of landing pages, creatives, ads, and content formats – with a clear focus on performance and conversion.
- You will continuously test new channels, formats, tools, and AI-supported approaches to further increase reach, lead quality, and ROI.
- You will actively contribute to the further development of our internal performance marketing standards, frameworks, and best practices, bringing your expertise to the team.
Requirements
Your Profile:
- You have a completed degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a comparable qualification.
- You have 6-8 years of relevant professional experience in performance marketing or B2B lead generation – ideally in an agency or consulting environment.
- You have in-depth experience in planning, implementing, and scaling lead generation campaigns (LinkedIn Ads, Meta Ads, Google Ads).
- You have excellent knowledge of web and campaign tracking (Google Tag Manager, Analytics, UTM tracking, reporting tools).
- You have a good understanding of B2B lead and funnel processes and know how lead generation, content, automation, and sales work together.
- You think in terms of business goals and have experience with KPIs across the entire funnel – from lead generation to pipeline and revenue contribution.
- You enjoy making data-driven decisions and presenting complex contexts in an understandable way.
- You are tech-savvy, curious about new tools, and have initial experience with AI-supported solutions in performance marketing.
- You work independently, structured, and solution-oriented, while also having a high degree of team and customer orientation.
- You communicate clearly, confidently, and persuasively – fluent in German and very proficient in English.
