Senior Lead Project Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Lead Project Manager to oversee complex projects from inception to completion. This pivotal role involves leading cross-functional teams, managing project scope, timelines, and budgets, and ensuring successful delivery of project objectives. You will be responsible for developing detailed project plans, identifying and mitigating risks, and communicating project status to stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and a proven ability to navigate challenging project environments. You will also play a key role in resource allocation, team development, and fostering a collaborative project culture. This is a hybrid role, requiring a balance of remote work flexibility and in-office collaboration to drive project success in Yola, Adamawa, NG .

Responsibilities: Lead and manage multiple projects concurrently from initiation through closure. Develop comprehensive project plans, including scope, timelines, resource requirements, and budget. Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues proactively. Facilitate clear and consistent communication among project teams, stakeholders, and leadership. Monitor project progress, identify deviations from the plan, and implement corrective actions. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Build and maintain strong relationships with project stakeholders, understanding their needs and expectations. Manage and mentor project team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Conduct post-project reviews to capture lessons learned and identify areas for improvement. Contribute to the continuous improvement of project management processes and best practices. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is highly desirable. Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in project management, with a significant portion in a leadership role. Demonstrated experience successfully managing large-scale, complex projects. Expertise in project management software and tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira). Strong understanding of Agile and Waterfall methodologies. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage competing priorities and make sound decisions under pressure. Experience in hybrid work environments and managing remote team members. Proficiency in budget management and financial forecasting.
