Senior Lead Software Engineer

Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Lead Software Engineer. The role involves leading the design, development, and implementation of software solutions. Key responsibilities include back-end web development, programming, and applying object-oriented programming principles. The Senior Lead Software Engineer will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, troubleshoot and optimize systems, and oversee the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain full stack web applications. Design, develop, and maintain full stack web and Mobile (Android and Apple) Applications. Build scalable backend services and APIs that integrate multiple applications and services. Develop responsive frontend interfaces that provide a smooth user experience. Design and maintain efficient database structures. Ensure system security, performance, and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve software issues. Participate in code reviews and improve development standards. Design and manage the full system architecture for the platform, supervise internal development activities, and coordinate with external development partners and service providers while maintaining high standards for performance, security, scalability, and integration.

Required Qualifications Strong experience in full stack development. Solid understanding of backend architecture and API development. Experience working with modern JavaScript frameworks. Experience designing and managing relational databases. Understanding of scalable system design. Experience working with version control systems such as Git. Ability to work independently and collaborate with distributed teams.

Preferred Experience Experience building large scale platforms or marketplaces. Experience working with service based or microservice architectures. Familiarity with DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure. Experience coordinating development across multiple teams.
