We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Management Accountant to join our remote finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing reports, and supporting strategic financial planning in a virtual work environment. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, proficiency with cloud-based accounting software, and the ability to analyze financial data to support business decision-making. The Management Accountant will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy of financial information, maintaining compliance with relevant regulations, and collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams remotely.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
• Oversee payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee compensation records.
• Conduct account reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial data across various accounts.
• Perform account analysis to identify discrepancies, trends, and areas for cost savings or improvement.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities to support strategic planning initiatives.
• Utilize cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other platforms to record, track, and report financial data.
• Support audit preparations by maintaining organized digital financial records and documentation.
• Collaborate with other departments through virtual communication tools to ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant or similar role within a corporate finance environment.
• Strong proficiency with accounting software including QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, and other relevant platforms.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, accounts payable/receivable management, payroll processing, and account reconciliation.
• Experience with budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
• Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to interpret complex financial data and communicate findings effectively in a remote setting.
• Relevant certifications such as CPA or CMA are preferred but not required.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks independently in a remote work environment.
