About the role

About

Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

Join BILL as a Senior Manager, Data Engineering - GTM Data Enablement. This role sits at the intersection of enterprise data engineering and our revenue engine. You'll lead the "last mile" of data that powers marketing automation, sales efficiency, and growth—owning how high-quality product and customer signals flow into our GTM stack to unlock smarter targeting, faster experimentation, and measurable revenue outcomes.

You'll partner directly with GTM and Marketing leaders while guiding a high‑performing engineering team. Together with our Data Platform partners, you'll design the paved path from our source‑of‑truth warehouse to GTM tools, enabling reliable real‑time audiences and customer 360 initiatives. If you thrive on turning complex architectures into simple, scalable data products that business teams love, this is your stage to make an impact at BILL.

Responsibilities

  • Lead GTM Data Enablement strategy and roadmap; translate business goals into scalable technical plans and measurable outcomes.
  • Own the vision and architecture for our CDP and product instrumentation to deliver real‑time, reliable event data to GTM systems (e.g., Segment, ad platforms).
  • Build and maintain the "paved path" from data lake/warehouse to GTM tools, enabling audience segmentation, activation, and customer 360.
  • Drive end‑to‑end data orchestration and quality for GTM use cases—minimizing redundant modeling and maximizing time‑to‑value.
  • Manage, coach, and grow a team of GTM enablement engineers; instill a culture of accountability, innovation, and business impact.
  • Collaborate closely with Data Platform/Infra to leverage the enterprise source of truth while meeting performance, cost, and reliability goals.
  • Partner with GTM leaders to prioritize the highest ROI initiatives and communicate progress, trade‑offs, and results with clarity.

Requirements

We'd love to chat if you have:

  • 10+ years in data engineering or analytics with deep domain experience supporting Marketing, Sales, or Growth operations.
  • Proven leadership building and leading technical teams in a fast‑paced SaaS environment.
  • Expertise with GTM data concepts such as event instrumentation, lead scoring, attribution, and campaign activation.
  • Strong cross‑functional influence and the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for non‑technical partners.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Hands‑on experience with modern data platforms/architectures (e.g., medallion and warehouse patterns) and CDP ecosystems.
  • Track record delivering real‑time data pipelines and audience activation across GTM tools and ad platforms.

Compensation

$188,400‑$235,500 USD
