Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the Company's external reporting process and provide insights on technical accounting issues.
  • Prepare and review quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, along with other documents such as 8-K and Proxy statements.
  • Assist in completing all required disclosure information.
  • Establish and maintain procedures to ensure timely preparation of financial reporting information for both external and internal stakeholders.
  • Research and interpret new U.S. GAAP pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements, assessing their impact on the Company's financial statements and disclosures.
  • Prepare and review financial information for press releases.
  • Draft technical accounting memos and drive process improvements in external reporting.
  • Optimize the Oracle ERP and Workiva software platforms.
  • Support other accounting areas like tax and stock-based compensation.
  • Assist in external and internal audit processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 5 years with a large public accounting firm.
  • Certified Public Accountant with an accredited bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proven ability to conduct technical accounting research, write effective position papers, and clearly communicate appropriate accounting treatments.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for publicly-traded companies.
  • Flexible schedule to meet the demands of the role and organization.

  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects while delivering high-quality results on time.
  • Experience in navigating technical accounting and internal control guidance to implement effective solutions.
  • Demonstrated advanced financial system experience with a commitment to business excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Telecommunications experience is a plus.
  • Advanced intermediate Excel proficiency (modeling, complex formulas, report development, pivot tables, XLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF statements, etc.).
