About the role

Position Overview

Serves as the discipline leader for marketing and partners closely with other topline disciplines (Sales and Revenue Management) to develop overarching cross‐cutting strategies. Responsible for creating a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with the hotel(s) goals and positioning. Develops and oversees implementation of marketing strategies designed to drive topline revenue and achieve RevPar/share-of-wallet goals. Manages all internal and external communication and owns digital presence, including but not limited to property website, third party channels and social media while maintaining brand integrity. Identifies incremental marketing opportunities ranging from partnerships, third-party cites and CVBs. Expertly articulates campaign performance regularly to General Manager(s), Sales and Revenue Management leaders and Hotel Ownership. May oversee Marketing Coordinator for execution of identified tactics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develops and implements an overarching marketing strategy, including planning, budgeting, and repositioning efforts in consultation with General Manager(s) and other key stakeholders.
  • Oversees digital marketing initiatives such as email marketing, website content management, paid media campaigns, SEO improvements, and performance analysis to ensure proper execution and optimization.
  • Manages content across multiple platforms including Marriott.com, OTA channels, third-party sites, landing pages, and guest communications to maintain brand integrity and messaging consistency.
  • Leads partnership and public relations strategies by cultivating internal and external relationships, managing PR agencies if applicable, and executing promotional events and campaigns.
  • Identifies and executes outlet marketing opportunities and collaborates with the F&B Director on in-house programming initiatives.
  • Drives social media strategy including campaign development, budget management, content calendar review, and performance tracking.
  • Steers creative asset development such as collateral production, photoshoots, and distribution, while effectively measuring and reporting campaign success to stakeholders.
  • Maintains strong relationships with internal departments (Sales, Revenue Management, Finance, Operations) and external partners to ensure the alignment and execution of marketing initiatives.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Either a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related major with 3 years' experience in Marketing or a comparable professional area, or a 4-year bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related major with 1 year of relevant experience.
