Key Responsibilities

As a pivotal member of our team, you will manage the Company's external reporting process and provide support on complex technical accounting issues while developing and enhancing accounting policies. Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and review of quarterly (10-Q) and annual (10-K) SEC filings, as well as other required filings like 8-K and Proxy.
  • Assisting in the completion of all disclosure information.
  • Implementing and maintaining procedures to ensure timely preparation of financial information for external and internal stakeholders.
  • Researching and interpreting new U.S. GAAP pronouncements and SEC reporting requirements, and assessing their impact on financial statements and disclosures.
  • Preparing financial information for press releases.
  • Drafting technical accounting memos.
  • Driving process improvements in external reporting functions.
  • Optimizing our Oracle ERP and Workiva software platforms.
  • Supporting corporate accounting areas, including tax and stock-based compensation.
  • Assisting with external and internal audits.

Minimum Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant accounting experience, including 5+ years at a large public accounting firm.
  • Certified Public Accountant with a bachelor's degree in accounting.
  • Proven ability to perform technical accounting research and communicate appropriate accounting treatments effectively.
  • Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements for publicly traded companies.
  • Flexibility in schedule and availability to meet the demands of the role.

  • Advanced knowledge of financial systems and a dedication to business excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in telecommunications is a plus.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Excel (modeling, complex formulas, report development, pivot tables, etc.).
