The Customer Success (CS) Success Plan product management team leads initiatives to empower our clients to realize the full potential of their Salesforce investments. We proactively manage the strategy and roadmap for Salesforce's diverse Success Plan portfolio (Standard, Premier, and Signature), ensuring our offerings effectively cater to the varying needs of customers across different segments and products. By acting as the voice of the customer and market, we collaborate with all CS functions and Salesforce product teams to continually innovate and enrich the value and experience derived from our Success Plans.

In this key role, we are looking for a highly strategic and seasoned Senior Manager to oversee Pricing and Packaging Strategy within our Customer Success Product Management team. You will play an essential role in shaping the monetization strategies for our Success Plans, analyzing current offerings, and ensuring alignment with the broader Salesforce product ecosystem. Moreover, you will contribute to optimizing the future Pricing, Packaging, and Go‑To‑Market strategies of Success Plans.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Director of Portfolio, Pricing, and Packaging Strategy and work alongside various cross‑functional teams in Product, Go‑to‑Market, and Sales, making strategic recommendations to maintain the innovation and competitiveness of Salesforce's Success Plans in a dynamic market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the ongoing Success Plan Pricing and Packaging Strategy by working directly with the Director to ensure current offerings meet key performance indicators and contribute to overall business health.
  • Define the future direction for Success Plan Pricing and Packaging through collaboration with Senior Product Leaders and cross‑functional teams to streamline and improve our strategies.
  • Align new products with Success Plan monetization strategies by partnering with M&A and Product Operations teams to ensure consistency across Pricing, Packaging, Sales, and Go‑To‑Market strategies.
  • Develop and monitor key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to Success Plans Pricing, Margin, and Go‑to‑Market, while also creating associated dashboards and metrics.
  • Foster cross‑functional collaboration with Product Management, Sales, and Corporate Strategy to align strategic directions and integrate new strategies into the Success Plans roadmap.
  • Synthesize research, analysis, and market insights into clear and actionable strategic recommendations for leadership teams.
  • Create compelling presentations to effectively communicate strategic findings and recommendations to a variety of audiences, including senior executives.

Minimum Qualifications

  • A minimum of 8 years of experience in product strategy, product monetization, financial analysis, or strategy consulting.
  • Experience within Customer Success and/or Professional Services organizations, and familiarity with their associated processes and technologies.
  • Strong analytical and strategic problem‑solving skills, capable of translating complex information into clear, actionable insights.
  • A proven track record of analyzing complex datasets, identifying insights, and developing actionable recommendations.
  • Experience in quantitative analysis, data modeling, data visualization, and logical reasoning.
  • Capability to develop strategic frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated capacity to work independently and lead projects to completion.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with experience in cross‑functional teamwork and influencing diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage conflicts and drive discussions toward mutually beneficial outcomes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the SaaS or enterprise software industry.
  • Proficiency in SQL and Tableau or similar data management and visualization tools.
  • Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.

Compensation

The compensation for this role in the U.S. is determined by factors such as location, job level, and experience. This position may also be eligible for additional incentives and benefits.

  • Typical base salary range: $143,400 – $216,900 annually
  • Higher range for select metropolitan cities: $172,200 – $236,700

Please note, this range represents base salary only and excludes bonuses, equity, and other benefits.
