Senior Manager, Product Management - BOT Protection

Role Overview

As a Product Manager for Botnet Protection, you will deliver game‑changing solutions to secure Capital One’s business applications and data traversing the network infrastructure from BOT attacks, while ensuring business agility, user productivity and operational simplicity, by leveraging a risk‑based approach and data‑driven strategy.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience working in Product Management
• At least 6 years of experience working in Information Technology
• At least 4 years of experience in Cybersecurity
• Currently has, or is in the process of obtaining, one of the following with an expectation that the required degree will be obtained on or before the scheduled start date:
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master’s Degree in a quantitative field (same list as above) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer‑facing digital products
• 2+ years of experience in cloud‑based or on‑prem network security products and services (WAF, Botnet Protection, DDoS Mitigation, IPS/IDS, NGFW, DNS Security)
• One or more professional certifications in Cybersecurity (CISSP, CISM, CCSP, etc.)
• Experience solutioning, deploying and managing network security infrastructure within enterprises

Compensation (Full‑Time Annual Salary Ranges)

• Chicago, IL: $182,500 – $208,300
• McLean, VA: $200,700 – $229,100
• New York, NY: $219,000 – $249,900
• Plano, TX: $182,500 – $208,300
• Richmond, VA: $182,500 – $208,300
• San Francisco, CA: $219,000 – $249,900

Additional locations will have salary ranges specific to those markets.

This role is also eligible to earn performance‑based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives (LTI).
