Senior Manager Software Development – Embedded Systems (SoC / Automotive)

About

We are looking for an experienced Senior Manager Software Development – Embedded Systems to lead the software development activities for next-generation Smart Display Controllers and graphics solutions used in modern automotive platforms. In this role, you will work closely with international engineering teams across Europe and Japan, driving innovation in embedded software for complex Automotive SoCs.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and grow a team of embedded software engineers
• Drive the software development lifecycle for Automotive display and graphics controller solutions
• Collaborate with Hardware Development, Technical Marketing, and Application Engineering teams
• Define and improve software architecture, scalability, quality, and performance
• Contribute technically to embedded software and hardware discussions
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement
• Ensure timely and successful project delivery in an international environment

Your Profile

• Strong background in embedded software development
• Experience with SoC-based systems , preferably in Automotive applications
• Deep understanding of hardware/software interaction in embedded environments
• Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams
• Excellent knowledge of: C / C++, UML, Python
• Experience with software architecture and modern development processes
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally and internationally

Nice to Have

• Experience with:
  • Graphics/display controllers
  • Automotive ECUs
  • Functional safety environments
  • Embedded Linux or RTOS
  • Semiconductor or automotive industry background
