senior-level IBM Maximo development and administrative services

Scope of Work

The Contractor shall provide senior-level IBM Maximo development and administrative services to support configuration, customization, integration, and operational improvements within the Maximo environment. The Contractor shall support the IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 9) operating within a Red Hat Open Shift containerized infrastructure.

Services shall include system administration, application development, integration design, troubleshooting, and operational support for enterprise asset management processes across operational, asset, and commercial platforms. The Contractor shall support complex enterprise integrations, including Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) workflows, and ensure system reliability across development, test, and production environments.

Performance Requirements

• Conduct workshops with stakeholders to gather and document business and technical requirements. Translate business requirements into functional specifications and technical solution designs.
• Design, develop, configure, and implement technical solutions within IBM Maximo MAS 9.
• Configure system components including workflows, security groups, domains, escalations, and application configurations.
• Administer and maintain the Maximo environment within the Red Hat OpenShift containerized platform.
• Collaborate with vendors to support and customize applications utilizing the EDI Strategic Asset Management (eSAM) framework.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of technical experience implementing and supporting IBM Maximo solutions.
• Experience supporting IBM Maximo Application Suite (MAS 8/9) environments.
• Strong knowledge of Maximo architecture including MBOs, workflows, domains, and database configuration.
• Experience developing Automation Scripts (Jython/Python).
• Experience supporting Maximo Integration Framework (MIF) including REST/SOAP services.
• Experience with Java, SQL, and Git.
• Demonstrated expertise configuring Maximo modules including Work Orders, Assets, Inventory, and Purchasing.
• Experience implementing and supporting Maximo BIRT reporting.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Maximo industry solutions such as Utilities, Transportation, or Service Provider editions.
• IBM Certified Deployment Professional – Maximo Asset Management.
• Experience implementing Maximo Mobile or Graphite-based mobile solutions.
• Experience with EDI Strategic Asset Management (eSAM).
