We're partnered with a world-leading technology company at their manufacturing technology centre in Weilheim, near Munich. They are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join them onsite, on a permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced engineering leader to own the full engineering lifecycle of next-generation, high-precision industrial modules built for 24/7 high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environments, with a focus on sub-micron (1µm) accuracy.
The ideal applicant will have deep hands-on expertise in precision automation, a track record in advanced packaging sectors, and the cultural agility to thrive in an international, multicultural environment.
What you will be doing

What we are looking for
- MSc or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Physics, Electronics, or equivalent
- 7+ years in precision automation, with a demonstrated history of leading technical functions and driving complex initiatives
- Proven track record developing high-precision equipment for advanced packaging in the semiconductor or photonic sectors
- Deep mastery of precision engineering fundamentals: static/dynamic/thermal simulation, 3D printing, advanced materials, sensors, and motion control systems
- Practical understanding bridging shop-floor realities and high-level equipment design
