Senior Mechanical Engineer (H/F)

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer (H/F) to support our aerospace projects in Switzerland.

Your job responsibilities

As part of the project team, you will take full ownership of the mechanical engineering lifecycle for antenna‑related developments:

• Lead requirement definition, system architecture choices, and key design tradeoffs
• Break down the work into clear tasks, estimate effort, track progress, and support Project Management with long‑term planning, interface coordination, and risk assessment
• Design, model, simulate, and validate complex, tightly integrated assemblies and components
• Collaborate with internal subject‑matter experts, manufacturing partners, and external test laboratories
• Work closely with system engineers, hardware engineers, RF specialists, and other internal and external experts

Your profile & personality

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
• Over 10 years of proven experience in mechanical engineering in automotive or aerospace sectors including proficiency with SolidWorks 3D and EPDM
• Strong background in thermal simulations and thermal management techniques
• Experience with system‑level architecture involving mechanical, electrical, RF, or optical aspects
• Solid experience in embedded packaging for harsh environments
• Familiarity with Quality by Design principles and Design for Manufacturing/Assembly/Testing/Maintenance
• Comfortable with lab work: assembling prototypes, using test equipment, and troubleshooting system‑level issues
• Exposure to both low‑volume and high‑volume manufacturing; quick to learn new materials and production processes
• Excellent documentation and reporting skills; clear and concise communication in English, both written and spoken
