Senior Mechanical Engineering (12 months Fixed Term Contract - UAE)

Duties & Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end mechanical system design, and coordination for HVAC, firefighting, plumbing, water supply, and gas systems.

• Manage large scale high-rise building projects from concept design through construction.

• Develop and maintain detailed MEP model using BIM and coordinate with other disciplines.

• Perform mechanical load calculations, equipment selection and prepare BOQs/specifications.

• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other MEP teams to ensure integrated design.

• Mentor and guide junior engineers, review shop drawings, RFIs and technical submissions.

• Ensure all mechanical designs comply with international standards and local building codes

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/ preference master’s in mechanical.

• Minimum 8-10 years hand-on experience in MEP design for high-rise buildings.

• Strong technical knowledge of (HVAC systems, Gas system, Plumbing and water systems, firefighting systems)

• Knowledge of standards such as IPC, NFPA, ASHRAE and local building codes.

• Proficient in REVIT and AUTOCAD, familiar with BIM coordination tools

• Familiarity with local authority approval processes for MEP works.
