Your Tasks

• You conceptualize and implement complex architectures based on Microsoft Azure to optimally meet the digital requirements of our internal services as well as our customers.
• Together with the team, you monitor and control our Azure and Microsoft 365 platforms as well as other highly available cloud applications – in close cooperation with Microsoft.
• You take responsibility for complex cloud projects, strategically use cloud-native architectures, and utilize Azure monitoring tools for efficient resource control.
• You ensure security and compliance in the Azure environment, analyze errors, take over 2nd and 3rd level support, and coordinate external partners in problem-solving.
• You follow current trends in the cloud environment with curiosity and innovative spirit and actively contribute them to the continuous improvement and optimization of our operational processes.

What You Bring

• You have a completed degree in computer science or a comparable qualification and bring several years of experience in operating complex, business-critical cloud infrastructures.
• Microsoft Azure is familiar territory for you – you know the requirements and trends and have a strong interest in new technologies.
• You have sound knowledge in the administration of Microsoft platforms as well as in installation, maintenance, and patching. You recognize problems early and solve them in a structured manner.
• You bring experience in automation and scripting as well as initial knowledge in the Infrastructure-as-Code environment (e.g. Terraform/OpenTofu, Bicep, Ansible), have experience with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, and a solid understanding of network techniques (DNS, Load Balancer, VLAN, DMZ, IP). Certifications are a plus.
• You convince with communication skills, team spirit, reliability, and openness to feedback.
• You have fluent German and very good English skills. You have the legally required reliability check and are willing and medically fit for on-call duty.
