Arcadis is seeking a skilled Senior Mining Engineer for our Canadian Mine Sector team. This position is ideal for professionals with significant experience (15-20 years) in tailings management, geotechnical inspections, and client engagement. You will work directly with clients to develop solutions that meet engineering requirements and ensure compliance across multiple regions, including British Columbia and Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement effective tailings and waste rock management solutions
• Communicate technical evaluations to clients and regulatory bodies
• Evaluate mine infrastructure related to tailings and water containment
• Lead geotechnical laboratory testing for project needs
• Conduct annual site inspections following relevant guidelines

Requirements

• MSc in civil, structural, or geotechnical engineering
• 15 to 20 years of practical experience
• P.Eng in practicing province or territory
• Experience as Engineer of Record on multiple mine sites
• Excellent communication skills for technical presentations
