Responsibilities: Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data from various mining sites to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. Develop and maintain operational dashboards and reports using business intelligence tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI). Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to production, costs, safety, and equipment utilization. Provide data-driven recommendations to mine management and operational teams to optimize resource allocation and processes. Conduct root cause analysis for operational challenges and propose corrective actions. Assist in the development and implementation of new operational strategies and best practices. Collaborate with site-based teams and other remote departments to gather information and disseminate findings. Stay abreast of advancements in mining technology and data analytics relevant to operations. Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all reporting and analytical platforms. Prepare presentations and reports for senior management, clearly communicating complex findings and recommendations. Contribute to budgeting and forecasting processes based on operational performance data. Support the continuous improvement initiatives across all mining operations. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in mining operations analysis, performance monitoring, or a similar role. Proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python, R). Experience with business intelligence platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Strong understanding of mining operations, equipment, and processes (e.g., drilling, blasting, material handling, processing). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present data effectively to diverse audiences. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines. A proactive approach to identifying and resolving operational issues. Familiarity with mine planning software and systems is a plus.
