What You Will Do

Paragon 28, a Zimmer Biomet company, is seeking a Senior National Accounts Executive. This role is fundamental in establishing and nurturing relationships to secure contracts with Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs), Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), and hospital systems, ensuring that all national contracts comply with legal standards and Paragon 28's pricing policies.

This is an individual contributor position with critical responsibilities including:

  • Designing, developing, and creating specialty agreement terms.
  • Identifying potential issues and proactively facilitating resolutions, including complex billing and pricing issues.
  • Assisting in the organization and leadership of industry marketing conferences related to National Accounts including value analysis, nursing, risk management, and supply chain.
  • Maintaining and managing account records in the CRM system, ensuring data integrity.
  • Mentoring and assisting Key Account Managers.

Your Impact

  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, providing recommendations, tracking contract status, and managing correspondence with internal and external customers.
  • Analyzing and interpreting contract modifications, serving as the main contact for Sales Representatives concerning contract pricing.
  • Negotiating contract terms through strategic analysis to optimize opportunities.
  • Providing training and education to the sales force regarding National Accounts processes and customer needs.
  • Developing relationships with key decision-makers in hospital groups, IDNs, and ASCs.
  • Performing benchmarking and analyzing historical pricing data for compliant negotiations.
  • Liaising with sales and financial teams regarding contract language's impact on revenue recognition.
  • Managing market share visibility with ASCs, IDNs, and GPOs for rebate agreements.
  • Collaborating with sales to assist in capital set sales proposals.
  • Compiling and discussing capital set sales proposals with relevant teams.
  • Other duties as required.

Your Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in a National Accounts Manager role at Paragon 28 or equivalent experience in the Medical Sales or Device Industry.
  • Experience in at least four of the following areas: Medical device industry, working with surgeons, hospital or surgical environments, supply chain professionalism, orthopedic industry, negotiating, contracting, or government contracting.
  • Track record of training sales representatives and hospital personnel.
  • Demonstrated accomplishments in sales management and marketing program introduction.
  • Proven analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, along with strong sales techniques and work ethic.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills; capable of prioritizing and multi-tasking effectively.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and customer database management systems.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively, making informed judgment calls.
  • Knowledge of orthopedic concepts and ERP systems is a plus.
  • Experience in high-volume environments and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Experience with RFQ/RFP/RFI proposals is preferred.
  • Understanding of reimbursements and CPT codes is beneficial.
  • Experience managing capital set sale proposals is preferred.

Travel Expectations

Up to 50% overnight travel required.
