Senior .NET Developer

We are supporting a global consulting client seeking a Senior .NET Developer with strong experience in industrial automation and SCADA platform development.

This is a 12-month contract based around Bedford, MA, requiring 3 days per week onsite.

The ideal candidate will have a strong software engineering background using C#, .NET and Python, with experience working on custom SCADA platforms, industrial automation systems, or automation software environments.

Experience within Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical environments would be preferred, but candidates from other industrial domains will also be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain software solutions using C#, .NET and Python
• Support the development of custom SCADA / industrial automation platforms
• Work closely with engineering and automation teams to understand technical requirements
• Contribute to system integration, troubleshooting and enhancement of automation-related applications
• Support delivery within an industrial / regulated environment

Required Experience:

• 7–12 years of software development experience
• Strong hands-on experience with C# and .NET
• Good Python development experience
• Background in industrial automation, SCADA, or automation platform development
• Experience working with industrial systems or vendors such as Siemens, ABB, Rockwell, Schneider Electric, or similar would be beneficial
• Strong communication skills and ability to work onsite in Bedford, MA 3 days per week

Preferred Experience:

• Life Sciences or Pharmaceutical industry background
• Experience in regulated manufacturing or automation environments
• Knowledge of custom SCADA platforms or industrial control systems
