Systems Services Group is a leading ICT solutions provider, seeking a Senior Network & Server Engineer to join our team in Gqeberha. This is a senior, hands-on role suited to an experienced engineer comfortable working across multiple client environments.

Key Requirements (Non-Negotiable)

• Minimum 5+ years hands-on ICT experience
• A+ and N+ certifications
• Relevant 3-year ICT qualification
• Proven experience in an MSP (Managed Service Provider) environment
• Experience:
  • Handling technical escalations
  • Working across multiple clients
  • Operating in high-pressure environments
• Willingness to:
  • Perform hands-on support (servers, networks, desktops)
  • Work on client sites
  • Manage SLAs and service contracts

Technical Skills

Networking

• Routing, switching, VLANs
• VPNs and WAN connectivity
• Fortinet Firewall experience (strong advantage)
• Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles

Servers & Infrastructure

• Windows Server (AD, DNS, DHCP, GPO)
• Virtualization (VMware / Hyper‑V)
• Backup and disaster recovery solutions

End-User Support

• Desktop and user support (not a pure architecture role)
