Senior Network Engineer

Overview

Seeking a Senior Network Engineer with strong expertise in enterprise and data center networking, focused on network design, implementation, and advanced troubleshooting hands-on role supporting large-scale routing and switching environments across enterprise, disaster recovery, and hybrid infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement enterprise, data center, and disaster recovery network solutions.
• Architect and support highly available routing and switching environments.
• Lead initiatives involving BGP, OSPF, ECMP, segmentation, and control-plane protection.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues using packet captures and protocol analysis.
• Design and implement data center, MDF/IDF, and access-layer network architectures.
• Develop and maintain HLDs, LLDs, and implementation documentation.
• Conduct proof-of-concept testing and technology evaluations.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and cloud teams on network initiatives.
• Mentor engineers on networking best practices and troubleshooting methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of Network Engineering experience.
• Expert-level experience with BGP and OSPF.
• Strong experience with Cisco IOS/XE, Cisco Nexus, and Cisco ACI.
• Enterprise and Data Center Networking experience.
• Experience integrating Palo Alto Firewalls.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Prisma SD-WAN preferred).
• Experience supporting Meraki Wireless environments.
• Working knowledge of Cisco ISE and network access control.
• Experience with Disaster Recovery networking.
• Strong packet capture and protocol analysis skills.
• Experience creating network design and implementation documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

• CCIE Routing & Switching certification or equivalent expert-level experience.
• Azure Networking experience or similar certification.
• Experience within financial services or other regulated environments.
• Technical leadership and mentoring experience.
