Responsibilities

As a Senior Network Engineer the successful candidate’s main duties will include:

• Strong understanding of network infrastructure and network hardware
• Analyzing existing hardware, software, and networking systems.
• Creating and implementing scalable Cisco / Dell networks according to client specifications.
• Assisting with customer’s connectivity
• Supporting customer’s Firewall (Check Point / Fortigate / Palo Alto)
• Ensuring customers' IT infrastructure is appropriately maintained, secure and fit for purpose
• Troubleshoot to resolve issues related to hardware and software
• Monitor networks
• Escalate when necessary

Your Profile

You will demonstrate exceptional knowledge of IT to deliver quality work that will drive excellent customer satisfaction, great communication skills, and the ability to work well within a team. You should be updated with the latest industry technologies and services, highly motivated, and embrace a collaborative mindset.

• Experience with CISCO switches and routers, including wireless and VOIP technologies
• Good experience on Cloud Network & Security management
• Understanding of network security, including firewalls, VPNs, Proxies, DDI +Understanding of cloud-based networking principles and SD-WAN
• ScienceLogic or equivalent Network Management platform
• Ability to think through problems and visualise solutions
• Knowledge of application transport and network infrastructure protocols
• Ability to create accurate network documentation for design and planning network communication systems

About You:

• At least 5 years' experience as a network engineer.
• Experience troubleshooting to resolve issue.
• Previous commercial experience of network design, switches & routers, EIGRP, BGP, VLANs +CCIE level certification
• Fortigate/Palo Alto/Check Point FW knowledge
• Driving licence
