Core Objective

The candidate is responsible for the end-to-end physical implementation and logical validation of the network infrastructure, ensuring seamless alignment between physical cabling and logical network configuration. You will operate across OSI layers 1, 2, and 3, supporting business-critical enterprise environments.

Requirements

Main Tasks

• Advanced Device Rack Installation & Mounting
  • Interpretation of Rack Elevation Diagrams (REDs) for high-density installations (Cisco Nexus 9K, Catalyst 9500 etc.)
  • Ensuring stable rack installation and correct load balancing
  • Performing Dual Power Feed (A/B) connections and tests
• Structured Cabling & Fiber Optic Management
  • Installation and maintenance of Single Mode (SMF) and Multi Mode (MMF) fiber optics
  • Cleaning and inspection of fiber optic connectors (IBC Cleaner, Fiber Scope)
  • Installation and troubleshooting of SFP/SFP+/QSFP/QSFP28 modules
  • Adherence to ANSI/TIA-606-B standards
• Patch Panels & Cross-Connects
  • Management of copper (RJ45) and fiber optic connections (LC/SC/MPO)
  • Performing cross-connects in Telco and MMR areas
  • Utilizing Visual Fault Locators (VFL) for fault diagnosis
• Remote Management & Console Access
  • Configuration of Out-of-Band (OOB) management (Opengear, Lantronix, Cisco ISR)
  • Troubleshooting serial connections and console access
  • Assisting with boot-level diagnostics
• Advanced Network Support (L1–L3)
  • Deep understanding of Ethernet, Gigabit, and high-speed networks (10/20/40G, DWDM)
  • Support for Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5 environments
  • Configuration and troubleshooting of VLAN, STP, VTP
  • Analysis and resolution of network loops and broadcast storms
  • Routing validation (BGP/OSPF, SVIs, IP addressing)
  • LACP / EtherChannel configuration

Experience & Skills

• 6–8 years of experience in Data Center or Enterprise Campus environments
• Experience with Cisco, Arista, Palo Alto, F5
• Experience with SFP, QSFP, NIM, PIC hardware
• Experience with diagnostic tools (VFL, light meters, fiber scopes)
• Very good CLI skills (Cisco IOS, NX-OS, Arista EOS, PAN-OS)
• Experience in incident management in critical environments
• CCNA required, CCNP (ENCORE) preferred
• Very good English skills, local language a plus
