Responsibilities

• You work in Professional Services and are responsible for the installation and configuration of network technologies in project business, with a focus on components from the manufacturer Palo Alto Networks.
• You develop modern network designs for new and existing customers and contribute your expertise to interdisciplinary teams.
• You support specialist departments in the implementation of security policies, best practices, and hardening measures. You are also involved in 2nd and 3rd level support for networks and firewalls.
• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new topics.
• You also support our team in presales activities, such as technical consulting for customers and developing solutions.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training or a degree with an IT focus (e.g., Fachinformatik)
• Several years of experience in network security and sound knowledge of common network and/or cloud technologies
• Practical experience with components from Palo Alto Networks Secure Networking
• New technologies and concepts such as SASE or Zero Trust fascinate you and you are willing to continuously train yourself
• You enjoy working remotely, but are also willing to support customers on-site occasionally
• Fluent German (C1) and very good English skills, both written and spoken
