POSITION SUMMARY
In this pivotal role, you will leverage your technical expertise to support Mission Drivers in the Network Practice of the Digital Modernization (DigMod) Sector. Acting as a vital link between technical acumen and business development, your focus will be on promoting Leidos Network solutions to federal clients and ensuring alignment with their strategic needs, which will drive the successful adoption of Leidos Mission Drivers. Responsibilities will include crafting innovative solutions based on your extensive experience and industry best practices.
WORK LOCATION
This position requires onsite availability in Newark, NJ for a defined time period. The role offers some flexibility for telework, but candidates must be prepared to travel to customer sites as required.
CLEARANCE REQUIREMENT
No initial clearance is necessary to start; however, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance (US Citizenship required).
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Technical Expertise: Maintain in-depth knowledge of network technologies, including IaC, SD-WAN, wireless, and NFV. Stay current with network trends and emerging technologies to effectively position Leidos capabilities.
- Client Engagement: Serve as the Network Practice Area's technical Sales Engineer/Architect, collaborating with the DigMod Sector CTO and Business Groups to identify customer needs and propose tailored solutions.
- Solution Architecture: Partner with capture teams, architects, and engineers to design secure, scalable networking solutions tailored to customer requirements, including MPLS-based transport and SD-WAN overlay architectures.
- Collaboration: Work with internal teams, client stakeholders, and external partners to ensure thorough communication and project alignment.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Master's degree with 15+ years of experience in network architecture or engineering roles; additional years of relevant experience may substitute for degree.
- Extensive experience in NMS, multi-transport, and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Proven capability in designing and deploying scalable infrastructure in cloud environments.
- Strong leadership and project management skills, with a history of successful team collaboration.
- Ability to obtain a Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance from the US Government; higher level clearances are preferred.

Pay Range
Pay Range $139,100.00 - $251,450.00
