Senior Network Solutions Engineer

Our client, a rapidly expanding telecommunications infrastructure company, is seeking a highly experienced Senior Network Solutions Engineer to join their fully remote engineering team. This role is critical in designing, implementing, and optimizing complex network solutions that form the backbone of modern communication systems. You will be responsible for evaluating client requirements, developing detailed network designs, and overseeing the deployment of advanced networking technologies, including routing, switching, firewall, and wireless solutions. Key responsibilities include creating network architecture diagrams, performance specifications, and implementation plans. The Senior Network Solutions Engineer will also play a vital role in troubleshooting intricate network issues, ensuring high availability, and implementing security best practices across all network infrastructures. Collaboration with cross-functional teams, including sales, project management, and customer support, is essential to ensure the successful delivery of network projects. This is a remote-first position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere. We are looking for a proactive and technically proficient individual with a deep understanding of networking protocols and industry standards. The ideal candidate possesses a proven track record of designing and implementing robust and scalable network solutions for large enterprises or service providers. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field is required, along with significant professional experience. Advanced certifications such as Cisco CCIE, Juniper JNCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable. Expertise in MPLS, BGP, OSPF, VPN technologies, and network security is essential. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are paramount for success in this remote leadership role.
